Police Department to offer virtual ride-along

Formatted HTML message

On Friday, June 27, 2014, Middleton Police will be participating in another global police tweet-a-thon, the first of which was started in March of 2013. The tweet-a-thon was started with the main goals of raising public awareness of our use of social media, connecting cops around the world and building relationships between police and the citizens they serve.

Middleton Police will be live tweeting and sharing all police activity during the tweet-a-thon, from 3pm to 11pm on Friday, June 27.  We will share basic information about all calls and activity, including pictures and video if the opportunity presents itself.  As always, we also welcome any comments, questions, feedback and re-tweeting/sharing of our posts.  We will do our best to respond to any questions as soon as possible.

To join Middleton Police on this virtual ride-along you can simply follow Middleton Police on Twitter @MiddletonPD and like Middleton Police on Facebook at http://www.fb.com/MiddletonPD. If you don't have a Twitter or Facebook account, you can find both feeds on our website, http://www.MiddletonPD.com.

In addition to following Middleton Police, you can also see what hundreds of other agencies participating worldwide are doing by searching #POLTWT.
